Cherrell's mother Deborah Evans told the court she had also seen texts from Mr Nicholls on her daughter's mobile phone and that she rang him to tell him it was inappropriate. | |
Mrs Evans said she also went to the Air Training Corps office to ask for an investigation because she was not happy with Mr Nicholls' response. | |

The court also heard Mrs Evans had contacted social services to notify them of her concerns about Mr Nicholls. | |
She said Cherrell had many problems, including self-harm and being bullied, and went into respite care once a month. | |
