Man admits theft of ice cream van in Nottingham

The vehicle was reported stolen from Bobbers Mill Road and was spotted on the A52 at about 01:20 BST on Thursday. Gavin Fouracres, of Briar Court, Long Eaton, admitted taking a vehicle without authority, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. At Nottingham Magistrates' Court he was sentenced to a community order with an unpaid work requirement of 60 hours. Fouracres was also disqualified from driving for 18 months, given a curfew with electronic monitoring, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and fine of £85.
