A helicopter has crashed in a field next to the M180 in North Lincolnshire. A pilot has been killed in a helicopter crash in North Lincolnshire.
Officers from Humberside Police and the Civil Aviation Authority are at the scene of the accident at Sandtoft, next to the M180's junction with the A18. The aircraft crashed into a field next to the M180 at Sandtoft at 1244 GMT. The pilot was the only person in the helicopter at the time of the accident.
Humberside Police said one person was in the two-person helicopter at the time of the crash. It is not known whether that person is injured. Officers from Humberside Police and the Civil Aviation Authority are at the scene of the accident, next to the M180's junction with the A18.
