Version 0 of 1.

There are renewed fears over the future of two leading shoe shop chains.

Creditors of the company that owns Barratts and Priceless Shoes have rejected administrators proposals to have the company re-structured.

There are more than 20 branches in Northern Ireland, employing almost 230 full and part time staff.

The stores parent company Stylo rejected a plan which would have closed 150 of its 400 UK stores. They employ 5,450 people across the UK.

All the shops in NI are trading as normal, but the administrators have said they now need to find a buyer to safeguard as many jobs as possible.
