Search and rescue teams are looking for a fisherman thought to have fallen overboard off the coast of Wales. The search for a scallop fisherman who is thought to have fallen overboard off the Welsh coast has been called off for the night.
The crews of three RNLI lifeboats, an RAF helicopter and local fishing boats are searching for the man in Cardigan Bay. Coastguards co-ordinating the search for the man in Cardigan Bay say a decision will be made on Friday morning on whether to resume.

The lifeboats are to return to station shortly for refuelling before resuming detailed searches for the missing man. Three RNLI lifeboats, an RAF helicopter and local fishing boats have been searching for the man.
Bob Reynolds, RNLI deputy launch authority at Cardigan, said: "Conditions are flat and calm which enabled Cardigan's Atlantic 75 lifeboat to quickly reach the scene and search the area."

The call-out came less than 24 hours after the volunteer RNLI crew from NewQuay helped rescue a base jumper who crashed into cliffs.
