Mr Knox rugby tackled his alleged assailant before he came to be attacked, the Old Bailey heard. Mr Bishop also denies five charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to five other youths.
'Going mad'

Recounting the confrontation, he said that his brother was "shouting" and "going mad".
This was because Mr Bishop had allegedly threatened Jamie with a knife, the Old Bailey jury heard.
Jamie then saw his brother trying to rugby tackle Mr Bishop.
He said: "He [Mr Knox] was slumped into him, had one of the defendant's arms by his side, he had his arms around his waist and his head pressed against his chest to one side."
Describing his brother, Jamie said he was "very protective" and "always in a happy mood".
