A County Fermanagh man has been found guilty of raping and indecently assaulting three young girls.

The judge warned 66-year-old David Parkinson, from Main Street in Brookeborough, that he faced spending a considerable period of time in prison.

The attacks took place between 1991 and 1995 when his victims were aged between six and nine.

A strongman known as Big Dave, Parkinson was found guilty of three rapes and nine indecent assaults.

The jury also returned guilty verdicts on five charges of incitement to commit an act of gross indecency at Enniskillen court.

He was cleared of one count of false imprisonment.

Parkinson will be sentenced in March.
