Police investigating a fatal hit and run incident in Antrim on Boxing Day have revisited the scene.

Seamus Griffin, 58, from Oriel Road in the town died after being knocked off his bike by a white Audi car on the Randalstown Road.

The car was later found abandoned. Four men who were arrested over the incident have since been released.

The police are trying to jog people's memories in the hope of understanding what happened.

Sergeant Phil McCullough has appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

He said: "We are appealing for anyone who saw this white Audi PKZ 2604 at any time on Boxing Day to contact police.

"No matter what information they have it may be of assistance to the inquiry."

The police are urging anyone with information to contact them at Antrim police station where an incident room has been set up.
