"There's a massive big hole in the child's room, his room was all adapted for him with padding on the walls and on the floor," she said.
"If the car had come in another six inches, 12 inches to the left it would have come under the window hit the bed and then trapped him because he was at the door at the time."
The family is being re-housed while an engineer surveys the damage.
