Version 0 of 1.

Business Secretary Peter Mandelson is to hold talks on the economy with Northern Ireland's first minister and deputy first minister.

Former NI secretary Lord Mandelson will meet Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness in Belfast later.

The talks come amid concerns over the banking sector, local business and the troubled Presbyterian Mutual Society.

Mr Robinson and Mr McGuinness have said that supporting the business sector is a key priority for their government.

It is believed Lord Mandelson will discuss a range of economic issues with the first and deputy first ministers.

Thousands of people face losing their savings after the Presbyterian Mutual Society was placed into administration in November.

A range of Northern Ireland politicians and leading figures from the Presbyterian Church have called on the government to intervene to help the institution.
