Grampian Police published an updated list on Thursday afternoon of how routes were affected by the weather. They included:
  • the A939 between Tomintoul and the Lecht, passable with care but closed on the Strathdon side
  • the A940 between Dava Moor and Forres was closed
  • the B9102 Knockando to Grantown, also closed due to fallen trees
  • the B974 was still closed.
Generally, all roads north of Huntly and along the Moray Firth between Banff and Forres were affected by snow.
The A68 was also shut south of Jedburgh.
