Four held after man dies near pub

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead outside a pub in Bath.

The victim, from Bath, was found on the pavement near the Longacre Tavern with injuries to his abdomen in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Paramedics attended and pronounced the man dead at the scene. He was later taken to the Royal United Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses or information. The four men arrested are all from Bath.
