Four stabbed in 'large' pub brawl

Four men have been stabbed during what police have called a "large scale disturbance".

The brawl happened just after midnight outside the Honours Three pub in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow.

Police said they were treating the attacks on two of the injured as attempted murder.

The four men - two of whom were aged 23 and two aged 49 and 21 - were taken to the Victoria Infirmary, where they were treated for their injuries.

Police said the disturbance, involving several people, started in the pub and continued out into the street.

It resulted in four men sustaining stab wounds.

The 23-year-old discharged himself from hospital.

The other three were still being treated.

Hospital staff described their conditions as serious but stable.

Police were treating the attack on the 23-year-old man still in hospital and the 49-year-old as attempted murder.

The attack on the other 23-year-old and the 21-year-old was being treated as serious assault.
