Teen quizzed after pedestrian hit

A teenager has been arrested following a crash which has left a man in hospital in a critical condition.

The crash happened just before 0100 GMT on Saturday in Cardiff's Manor Way. A 30-year-old pedestrian was hit by a small white hatchback driving north.

The man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in the city suffering from multiple injuries.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries.

South Wales Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

They have appealed for anyone with information about how the car was being driven either before or after the collision to contact them on 029 2022 2111 or their nearest police station.
