A spokesman for freight operator DB Schenker said: "Shortly after 6am this morning, a train conveying aviation fuel from Mossend to Prestwick in six wagons became derailed. A spokesman for BP rail cars said: "The wagons were carrying heating oil and diesel from the Grangemouth refinery to a Scottish Fuels terminal in Kilmarnock."
