"Police are chasing the car that opened fire," a Yemeni official told Reuters. "Gunmen in a car fired at the police in a neighbourhood close to the embassy," a security official told AFP news agency.
"No-one seems to have been hurt. It was a checkpoint leading to the embassy, and not close to the building," the official said. "Security forces chased them and managed to stop the car. Three gunmen who were in the car were arrested," he said.
