Doorman injured in club shooting

A doorman was shot in the leg minutes after refusing to let three men into a nightclub in north London.

A man waiting in the queue for the People's club was also shot in the heel when the gunmen aimed at door staff.

Both victims were treated in hospital for minor injuries after the shooting in the early hours.

Police said there was an earlier argument between up to three men and door staff before the suspects returned armed with a weapon.

The suspects, all black men, drove away from the venue in Holloway Road, Islington.
