Police warned motorists not to travel unless absolutely necessary and urged them to be mindful of ice, snow, and debris on the roads Canon Sean Rogan knew the victim and her family. He said the "whole community was desperately affected by the tragedy".
Dozens of roads across the country were blocked on Saturday due to fallen trees. "The family is so respected and so much loved here," said Canon Rogan.
"It touches the emotions. It becomes all the more poignant when we see a young husband and two young girls now bereft of a very much loved and loving mother."
