Crash lorry driver still quizzed Widow's tribute after A55 crash

A 35-year-old man is still being questioned by police after a crash early which killed a motorist on the A55 in Flintshire. The widow of a 70-year-old man who died in a road collision on the A55 has paid tribute to him.
The A55 was closed for eight hours westbound between Flint and Rhuallt following the accident early Thursday. Police named the man killed in the accident at Rhuallt Hill early on Thursday as Arfon Jones from Rhyl.
The dead man who was 70 and from Denbighshire, was driving a Toyota Corolla. His wife, 66, who was with him as a passenger was unhurt. They have been given an extra 12 hours to question a 35-year-old lorry driver about the crash, which closed the westbound carriageway for eight hours.
Vera Jones said in a statement that her husband was "always happy, cheerful and would do anything for anybody."
She said he was "a loving husband, father, stepfather and granddad" who would be "greatly missed by all who knew him."
Mrs Jones, 66, was a passenger in the car when the fatal crash with the lorry happened at about 0150 GMT on Thursday at Hill between Holywell and St Asaph. She was unhurt in the crash.
