Pupil, 17, falls from school roof

A sixth-form comprehensive pupil has been airlifted to hospital after he fell off a school roof in Swansea.

Police are investigating the incident at Bishop Gore which happened around 1430 GMT on Monday.

The 17-year-old was taken by air ambulance to the city's Morriston Hospital.

A spokeswoman for the school in Sketty said: "His injuries are not life-threatening. Our thoughts are with him and his family."
