An Eastern Airways spokesman explained: "As two of our flights were approaching Aberdeen for landing a laser light from the ground was aimed at both aircraft.
"Both of our pilots reported the incidents to police as they were extremely concerned that safety could be compromised during the landing approach due to the irresponsible actions of an individual on the ground."
