Armed robbery at city restaurant

There has been an armed robbery at a Chinese restaurant in Belfast.

It happened at 2100 GMT on Wednesday at the Imperial City on Botanic Avenue. No-one was injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, two people working at a convenience store in Sandy Row in Belfast have been threatened with a knife during a robbery.

A man made the staff lie on the ground at the back of the store and stole money from the tills. It is thought he ran off towards Blythe Street.
