Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the Tenby fire broke out at 1923 GMT, destroying static caravans which had been moved for the winter. | |
A spokesman for Kiln Park said: "Due to the time of year, no holidaymakers were on site and no member of staff was injured. | |
"The caravans were being temporarily stored on a car park while their permanent site was being redeveloped over the winter months. | |
"The alarm was raised by security staff and the fire service was quickly in attendance. Police have now sealed off the area and are conducting a forensic examination." | |

Police also attended another incident last night at Penally railway station, where a fire was set in the toilets. This initial fire was thought to have started at about 1730 but was put out by members of the public. It was then lit again and reported to the police at about 2230. | |
The two fires are not being linked to a recent car fires in Tenby at this stage but police keeping an open mind. | |
