Boy, 6, killed after being struck by car in Howard County, Md., police say
Version 0 of 1. A 6-year-old boy was struck by a car and killed Monday afternoon in Columbia, Md., police in Howard County said. Isaac Gill, who lived in Columbia, and his mother, Nazia Gill, 38, were apparently both struck about 2 p.m. while in a crosswalk at Harpers Farm Road and Twin Rivers Road, police said. The boy died at a hospital. His mother’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said. They said the driver remained at the scene. Police are trying to determine the cause of the incident, which is under active investigation, they said.
