When officers arrived, they found one man outside a condominium suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition, police said.
Officers found a second man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a condominium, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fairfax County police are investigating a motive for the shooting.

Police said the name of the deceased man will be released after family members are notified. No arrests have been made.
The shooting occurred in the Sequoyah neighborhood, a collection of garden-style condominiums several blocks west of Route 1. The scene of the killing was next to a community center.
Detectives remained for hours at the scene, where a large section of buildings was roped off.
Authorities didn’t release information about a possible suspect and asked for the public’s help. Anyone with information about the double shooting was asked to call 703-691-2131.
