Royals to attend church service Queen in festive plea for harmony

The Queen and other members of the Royal Family will head to church at Sandringham later for their traditional Christmas day outing. The Queen is to call for more understanding between generations in her Christmas message.
It has become customary in recent years for the royals to spend Christmas at their residence in Norfolk. The monarch, who turned 80 this year, will say the elderly need to be shown respect and young people need to be "nurtured and guided".
Prince Harry is not with his family because he is on duty with his regiment the Blues and Royal at his barracks. Her message - to be broadcast at 1500 GMT on radio, TV and online - will say that young and old of all faiths have much to offer each other.
