A teenage boy and girl have died in a car crash in Staffordshire. A 17-year-old driver and a teenage girl have been killed in a car crash in Staffordshire.
Their Volkswagen Polo was in collision with a Citroen Xsara on the A53 near The Wheel pub in Longsdon, near Leek, on Sunday afternoon. Benjamin Chadwick, from Leek, and 15-year-old Grace Everill, from Clayton, died at the scene of the crash on the A53 in Longsdon, police said.
The 15-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy died at the scene while a man who was in the car suffered severe head injuries and was taken to hospital. Their Volkswagen Polo was in collision with a Citroen Xsara near The Wheel pub on Sunday afternoon.
The Citroen Xsara caught fire but the woman inside managed to get out with only minor injuries. Another 17-year-old youth in the Volkswagen Polo was taken to hospital with severe head injuries.
