A man has been arrested after a mother-of-three was killed by a glass bottle while she was celebrating her partner's birthday in a Greater Manchester pub. A man has been charged with the murder of a mother-of-three who was killed when a bottle was thrown into a pub in Greater Manchester.
Emma O'Kane, 27, was the innocent victim of a row involving a man who had been refused entry to the pub and then threw a bottle, said police. Neil McNulty, 19, of Peel Lane, Heywood, will appear before Rochdale magistrates on Monday.
She suffered a neck injury at 0200 GMT at Queen Anne Hotel on Market Street in Heywood and died later in hospital. Emma O'Kane, 27, was hit in the neck by a piece of glass in the early hours of Saturday. She died later in hospital.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. She had been celebrating her partner's birthday at the Queen Anne Hotel on Market Street in Heywood.

Mr Shepherd described Ms O'Kane as "my soul-mate" and "angel".
"She was the love of my life and kind-hearted," he said.
"Emma was really popular - everyone said she was the best barmaid and she was a brilliant mother to three gorgeous kids."
Her mother Diane O'Kane, 47, said: "Emma loved looking after people and planned to get a job in a nursing home.
"She loved her kids - they were everything to her and she was the best mum."
Earlier, detectives revealed they were looking for a man who had been refused entry to the pub.
"He became involved in an altercation with the doormen and threw a bottle into the pub," said Det Supt Peter Jackson.
