'Terrible incident'
The 22-year-old managed to leave the restaurant and walked as far as Long Street before he collapsed, said police.

Their attackers are described as white men in their early to mid 20s.

Detective Inspector John Mazzolai said: "Two young men's lives are in danger this Christmas morning following this terrible incident.
"We would like to reassure communities that we are confident of closing in on the offenders, but still need people to come forward with information.
"You can speak to the police in confidence, as we are able to ensure that you remain anonymous and protected."
He added that he was particularly keen to trace a light-coloured small hatchback car that was seen driving away from the restaurant shortly after the attack.
The attackers are described as white men in their early to mid 20s.
