Version 0 of 1.

A shop worker was abducted and forced to hand over money from his Dungannon shop, the police have said.

He was abducted at about 2300 GMT on Sunday as he returned to his home in Coalisland.

Before he could leave his car an armed man got in and told him to return to the shop on Washingbay Road and that his family was being held hostage.

After getting money from the premises he was later released and found that no-one had been to his home.

The robber was met by an accomplice in a car park at Washingbay Road near where the victim worked.
