Version 0 of 1.

A woman has been robbed by a hijacker in Bangor, County Down.

She was driving along Cranston Park at about 2040 GMT on Friday when a man flagged down her car and forced her to stop.

He got into her car and made her drive to a lane near Conlig where he stole cash from her before running off.

Police said the robber, who spoke with a strong Belfast accent, was dressed in a black hoodie and trousers but was wearing distinctive sky-blue gloves.

Detectives are investigating whether a white transit van spotted near the lane where the robbery took place was involved.
