Pensioner 'shaken' after burglary

An 87-year-old woman has been treated for shock following an aggravated burglary at her home in Newry.

Police said three masked men, one of whom was armed with a knife, forced their way into the house at Toragh Park shortly after 2000 GMT on Saturday.

The intruders escaped empty-handed after they were disturbed by the pensioner's care worker.

Police have appealed for information about the aggravated burglary.
