Charge over car ice-scrape injury 'Ice-scrape' accused due in court

A man has been charged after a woman was badly injured as her car was stolen while she scraped ice off the vehicle. A man is due in court charged with causing injuries to a woman whose hips were smashed and lungs crushed when her car was driven off and hit her.
Caroline Johnson, 46, was about to take her son to school when a man got into the car near her home in Langley, Slough, Berkshire, on 2 December. Caroline Johnson, 46, was scraping ice off the vehicle before taking her son to school near their Berkshire home.
As the man drove off, she was run over and suffered multiple injuries. A man got into the vehicle and drove off causing severe injuries to the mother-of-four.
Kevin Richardson, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. Kevin Richardson, 33, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.
The mother-of-four's injuries include smashed hips and a four-inch hole in one of her legs. Her pelvis and lungs were also crushed. The accused, of no fixed address will appear before East Berkshire Magistrates' Court later.
Mr Richardson is due to appear before East Berkshire Magistrates' Court on Thursday. Mrs Johnson was injured on 2 December suffering a crushed pelvis and lungs and what has been described as a four-inch hole in one of her legs.
She was outside the family home in Langley, Slough, when the incident happened.
