An air and sea search is under way for a fisherman swept out to sea while angling off rocks in the north east of Scotland. A major air and sea search for an angler who was swept out to sea near Aberdeen has been called off.
Emergency services were called out at about 0615 GMT after reports the man had fallen into the water as he fished off the coast south of Aberdeen. An RAF Lossiemouth helicopter joined two lifeboats and coastguard teams in the search early on Friday morning but the man was not found.
