Detectives are investigating the discovery of a man's body in a house in Fife.

The body was found at the house in Altyre Avenue, Glenrothes, shortly before noon on Thursday.

Fife police said investigations were at an early stage but confirmed they were treating the death as suspicious.

Neighbours said the dead man was aged in his 30s and had lived in the street for five years. Friends placed floral tributes outside his front door.
