Seven British citizens have been injured in the Mumbai attacks, says the British High Commissioner in India. Britons have barricaded themselves in their rooms after gunmen stormed two luxury hotels in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay).
Sir Richard Stagg said there were likely to be more UK injured and the identities of the hostages being held across Mumbai (Bombay) were unknown. The gunmen had reportedly been seeking out UK and US passport holders. Seven British citizens have been injured.
