A 36-year-old man has been charged with the attempted murder of a woman and the attempted destruction of an unborn baby. The partner of a woman who was attacked while pregnant will appear in court later charged with attempted murder.
Simon David Morris, of Prestatyn, was held on Monday following an attack on a woman at her home in Prestatyn on 15 August. Simon Morris, 36, from Prestatyn, is also charged with the attempted destruction of an unborn baby.
He was taken to St Asaph police station for questioning. Nerys Price delivered her baby by emergency Caesarean after the assault at her home in Prestatyn in the early hours of Friday 15 August.
North Wales Police said Mr Morris is due to appear before Prestatyn Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning. Mr Morris is due to appear at Prestatyn Magistrates Court.
He was detained on Monday and taken to St Asaph police station for questioning
