Notre-Dame, the 12th-century French cathedral damaged by fire on Monday, is the biggest architectural attraction in Paris, drawing about 13 million visitors per year to admire its Gothic architecture and stained glass.

It is also the home of some of the world’s most treasured Christian relics.
