Landfill hunt for baby continues | |

Police will continue their search for the body of a baby believed to have been dumped on a landfill site. | |
Officers cordoned of the site at Throckmorton in Worcestershire on Monday after information that a teenager may have concealed a birth. | |
West Mercia Police said the girl went to Hereford County Hospital and doctors confirmed she had given birth earlier this month. | |
It is thought the body could be in a bin liner. | |
The teenager has not been arrested and is said to be assisting police with their investigations. | |
In a statement, the West Mercia force said: "Officers are investigating the possibility that the baby's birth was concealed. | |
"Police have not located the body of the baby but have identified an area of interest in Worcestershire." | |
