A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a property in St Neots in Cambridgeshire. A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a property in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Robert McWhir, 25, of Potton Road, St Neots, was detained after the woman's body was found at an address in Loves Way on Saturday morning. Marissa Aldrich, 29, from the town, was found in Loves Way on Saturday at about 02:30 GMT.
The victim, believed to be in her 20s, was discovered when emergency services were called to the property at about 04:30 GMT. Mother of-two Ms Aldrich was pronounced dead at about 04:30.
McWhir is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court later. Robert McWhir, 25, of Potton Road, St Neots, appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with murder and will appear at Luton Crown Court on Thursday, police said.
