Boy in court over school stabbing

The 15-year-old victim was flown to hospital after being attacked on Thursday afternoon at The Cardinal Wiseman School in Greenford. The 16-year-old, who cannot be named, appeared at Ealing Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Acton Youth Court on Tuesday. The school is expected to open as normal on Monday but with a special assembly held to reassure pupils. The attacked boy remains in a stable condition in hospital. His injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening before his condition improved. |
