A building has been badly damaged in a suspected arson attack in Ballymena.

It is believed the fire was started at about 0500 GMT in the Dunvale area of the Dunclug estate on Thursday.

It is understood the building is used to store newspapers before they are delivered to shops. No-one was in the building at the time.

A bar next door to the building also suffered smoke damage. Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in contact with them.
