Leading figures from Northern Ireland's music scene are at the Whitla Hall in Belfast for a one-day conference on the future of the industry.

Among those speaking at the event are former Undertones singer Feargal Sharkey, who is now head of record industry umbrella group UK Music.

Other delegates include NI-born Kerrang editor Paul Brannigan.

The Northern Ireland Music Industry Commission-organised conference is now in its third year.

More than 500 young people are expected to attend.
