A security alert is under way in west Belfast, following reports that suspicious object has been found. Three people have escaped injury in an attack on a house in south Belfast, the police have said.
The Whiterock Road has been closed and the Army is at the scene. Some people have been moved from their homes and the City Cemetery is being searched. Police said a "crude device" caused minor blast damage after being put through the letter box of the house on the Donegall Road.
