A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was found stabbed to death on a residential street in south London. A murder inquiry has begun after a 21-year-old man was found stabbed in a south London street.
The 21-year-old victim was discovered in Lebanon Road in Wandsworth at about 2330 BST on Monday. Nathan Douglas, from Camberwell, was discovered in Lebanon Road in Wandsworth at about 2330 GMT on Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several roads in the area have been cordoned off as the Metropolitan Police conduct their inquiries into the incident. Police believe Mr Douglas had left a group of friends to meet someone before being stabbed at least once.
It is understood the Serious Crime Squad is investigating the killing. They are trying to trace a man seen running along nearby Cromford Road after the attack happened.

Police believe Mr Douglas arrived at Cromford Road in a car at about 2315 GMT.
The car was then driven to Lebanon Road, where he left his friends to meet someone, police said.
A short time later he returned suffering stab wounds and the police were called.
