A man and a woman have suffered head injuries after an attacker kicked in the door of a house in Newtownards. A man has been arrested for attempted murder after a man and a woman were seriously assaulted in a County Down village.
A man broke down the door and, after an argument, two people were taken to the Ulster Hospital. The attack happened at about 0115 GMT on Sunday morning. The couple were attacked in High Street in Comber at around 0115 GMT on Sunday morning.
