Crews fight fire at tyre depot Blaze at tyre depot 'deliberate'

A major fire has broken out at a tyre depot in Londonderry. A blaze at a tyre depot in Londonderry was started deliberately, the Fire and Rescue Service has said.
All available fire crews are at the scene of the blaze on the Corrody Road area of Gobnascale. The fire on the Corrody Road in Gobnascale was believed to have started at about 1930 GMT on Friday.
Police are also at the fire which started at about 1930 GMT on Friday. A fire service spokesperson said crews had to work quickly to remove gas cylinders which would have exploded if they had overheated.
There are no further details. The spokesperson said people who had gathered to watch a fireworks display could have been injured.
Police said the area around the scene of the blaze had been cordoned off until an examination could be carried out in daylight.
