Ms Brown's mother reported her missing on 22 October after discovering that she had not retuned to her own home in Laigh Gree, Burnhouse, Ayrshire. | |
Two days later police appealed for help in tracing Ms Brown and her grandson. | |
Hours after the appeal, officers revealed that the 20-month-old toddler had been traced and was with his mother, Lisa Brown, in Glasgow. | |
On 25 October, police revealed that a body had been found in a burn on farmland in East Ayrshire, near where Ms Brown's car had been abandoned. | |
DNA tests later confirmed that the remains were those of the missing woman. |
