Ms Brown was last seen on Saturday 18 October leaving her mother's home in Ayrshire with her grandson.
Her car was found abandoned at about 0230 BST the following day, near to where her body was later discovered.
Police appeal
Ms Brown's mother reported her missing on 22 October after discovering that she had not retuned to her own home in Laigh Gree, Burnhouse, Ayrshire.
Two days later police appealed for help in tracing Ms Brown and her grandson.
Hours after the appeal, officers revealed that the 20-month-old toddler had been traced and was with his mother, Lisa Brown, in Glasgow.
On 25 October, police revealed that a body had been found in a burn on farmland in East Ayrshire, near where Ms Brown's car had been abandoned.
DNA tests later confirmed that the remains were those of the missing woman.
