On Sunday police began a search for a man believed to have arrived in the UK on the same flight as Ms Last.
The man was named as 43-year-old David Case, who had lived at addresses in the Cardiff and Barry areas.
Officers said they were greatly concerned for his health as he was also thought to have swallowed drugs.
