The neighbour added: "It's really tragic. A bunch of flowers was left outside the gate of the house with the message:"Our hearts go out to you and your family. Rest in peace little one."
"You just wish you'd been able to react earlier." Firefighters have been touring nearby streets giving out advice on fire safety andsmoke alarms.
The police spokesman added: "Inquiries are ongoing but the fire is not being treated as suspicious."
